The Air Museum Rebranding
Inspired by the
Luftmuseum, I decided to design a set of VI for the air museum that I imagined
to be built in Beijing, which would be filled with a paradise atmosphere and
mainly opened towards children. The air museum allows the invisible air to be
perceivable by external objects. This reminds me of the small pieces of paper
under the wind-bell that flutters with the wind during summertime; hence, I
designed the logo of the museum based on the paper that is blown by the wind.
And based on the image of the logo and the concept of the blowing paper, I
created extension graphics and icons. Finally, I designed a series of small
products including tickets, paper cups, paper bags and posters. Among them, the
tickets can be folded into small flags after it is checked, so that children
can better feel the flow of air and have more fun while visiting. In terms of
color, I chose light blue, lively yellow and green, which better fit the theme
of bringing people the atmosphere of happiness.
